Bean Bag Chairs!!!

So as most of y'all know we had a BIG sectional sofa. Well two parts of the sofa was broken, so we fixed it to just be a sleeper sofa. So since we don't have a large couch for all of us to sit on we bought the kids some bean bag chairs... They absolutely love them. Melvin has the Black one, John has the Blue one, Alison has the Pink one and Jacob has the Green one...

Train Ride and Aquarium

So one Saturday we went on a train ride to Dallas and then went to the Dallas Aquarium it was a great day but it was a very long day...

This is Jacob which is the train boy who did not want his picture taken... He had lots of fun. We did not tell any of them where we were going and I wish I could have had a picture of Jacob once he realized we were riding a train.

We had a blast... We got to eat at the aquarium and we rode on a horse drawn carriage... The horse was named Prince Charming... The kids thought that it was so fun...

Easter

So I know I am late but her are a few pics of the kids on Easter while egg hunting. This is Alison she was trying to look for eggs.

We spent Easter weekend in Oklahoma with Lee's Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles and lots of Cousins. The kids love going up there to play with Daniel and Morgan. Thats all I hear about for 1 to 2 weeks after we get home. I did not get any pics all dressed up but they were cute. I will get them dressed up again and take some pictures.

The new Air Conditioner

Ok so last week we decided to get a new A/C for our family room. This room was an addition and does not get very cold with the central unit. Anyway we got it installed and it works great. Well apparently the Ceiling Fan figured since we got the new A/C that we did not need it anymore and....
It fell out of the ceiling... Luckily for us it happened in the middle of the night. None of us woke up and I am shocked. When Lee got up the next morning he found it on the floor. I forgot to take a picture before he took it outside. I am just gratefull that we were not up because this is our main room and its where the kids like to play all of the time.

Bluebonnets

So before more rain came this week we went and took some Bluebonnet Pictures. John is on the left he never looks at the camera when you want him to, Jacob is sitting beside him and his is my smiling pants. He has a smile on his face from the moment he wakes up till he goes to sleep. Melvin is in the middle and I just cannot believe how big he has gotten. And of course our little princess who now would rather wear a dress over shorts. We had lots of fun and I hope yall enjoy the picture.

No Power

So last week the power went out all over our neighborhood. We did not have power and neither did Melvins School. I sent him to school thinking that the power would be back on within a couple of hours. Well to top this off it was his Birthday and when the power was not on at 10 I decided to go and get him out of school. I will never do that again... He loves school so much that he pretty much was cranky all day because he wanted to be back at school. Sha-Sha took us out to lunch at Red Lobster and then we went to the party store to get some stuff for a small party he was getting on Saturday at the park. Then we went to the French Bakery for a Birthday Dessert. It turned out to be a great day but unless they send him home or he doesnt go to school in the morning, I will never take him out again atlest not at this age. I will post pictures soon of all of us. I have a bunch...

Working Out

So I have decided to get healthy and try to lose all of the weight that I have gained over the past years. So I am not going on fade diets, quick fixes, diet pills... I am doing it the old fashioned way, excersize and making better eating choices. I have gotten into the habit of going to the gym in the mornings after we drop off Melvin at school. The kids love it because they get to go to the Y and play with lots of friends. I enjoy it because for that 1-2 hours a day its all about me and I dont have enough of that time for me. So far in about 1 1/2 months I have lots around 17 pounds which is a little over the 2 pounds a week for a normal weigth lost. I can definantly feel it in my clothes and I enjoy seeing how loose my clothes are fitting me. Anyways this blog is just about me so I will update on the kiddos soon.
